Hi there and welcome to "my mothers moustache" a blog that has nothing to do with the HTML address, but all of my other choices for a blog site were taken and believe it or not this is actually a nod to my mother (she understands it).
Actually, I've actually tried to create a blog on and off over the years with little success. The problem that I discovered is that on the average...I have nothing of interest to say. Yeah, I know some of the post are long, but again, the problem is that they are nothing of interest. Plus, I always thought that I would be meeting with you again and over dinner would either regale you or bore you to tears with these stories (anything I can do to get you to pay for a meal). Then it finally, sank in that I might not get that chance to do so (after all, look how many years it has been since we last met) and I was always sending out an occasional email with a story in it anyway and thought it, so what the hell, make the leap and finally create and try to maintain a blog.
Of course, the key words are "try to maintain." That is, if you don't hear from me or the blog in a while, then send me a message to get me to do so. Plus, tell me what you want to know or hear about and I will try to post those little stories as well. That way I'll know people are reading it and the best way to keep it interesting for you.
Probably, most of the posts will be updates, rants, and remembrances. Some posts will be good, but many not so much. Some of them only a few of you will really understand and others will just be stories. Basically, there is nothing earth shattering about this. This is my little way of (re)connecting with...everyone again.
